Our identity is based on combining the unconventional and the visually sustainable, not succumbing to a rapidly changing world but running its own path of creation. DNA rara prides itself on 100% genuine leather and handmade leather accessories. All products are created in our rara studio and are completely made by our own hands. Materials and leather are responsibly and respectfully selected and sourced from Czech suppliers. Our goal is to create products that adapt to your pace of life and can handle the world for years to come.

Katarina Nemcova is the head designer behind the brand rara. Her design language is defined by sculptural shape modifications and a deep affinity for black leather — expressive signature that runs through every piece. She studied footwear design at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín. During her academic journey, she continuously developed her creativity, taking it up a notch year after year.

She was mentored by the handbag designer Denisa Adolfová in Prague, the Estonian Academy of Arts, and the Marko Baković Studio in Amsterdam.
